Avana Super 160 Mg (Avanafil & Dapoxetine)

What is this drug?

Avana super is a combination of two medicines prescribed to treat sexual dysfunction in males. It is used for premature ejaculation, failure to get an erection or the ability to hold an erection for the desired duration. Avana is also prescribed to treat sexual problems. It is not helpful in premature ejaculation.

Class and Mechanism of Action

Avana super contains Avanafil and Dapoxetine. Avanafil is a phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitor. Its PDE5 inhibiting action releases more of cGMP in the Corpus Cavernosum of a penis. An increased level of cGMP relaxes the smooth muscles and improves blood flow. Dapoxetine is an SSRI inhibitor. It inhibits serotonin reuptake, increases its action at the post-synaptic cleft and helps prevent premature ejaculation.

Avana is Avanafil alone.

Store it in a cool and dry place away from the reach of children.

How to take the medication?

Take it orally 30- 40 minutes prior to a sexual act.  It is best to take it on an empty stomach or after a light meal.

Dosage

The typical dose of Super Avana is one tablet (Avanafil 100 mg plus Dapoxetine 60 mg) a day. Tablet Avana is taken one tablet (50 mg) a day. Kindly consult your doctor for the correct dose.

Overdose

Consult your doctor right away. It can cause serious problem.

Missed Dose

If it is time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose or else take it as soon as you remember. Do not double dose.

Warnings and Precautions

Do not take more than one pill in a day. Do not take it with medicines containing nitrates. Do not consume alcohol.

When the drug should not be used?

Heart disease, blood disorders, glaucoma, Kidney & liver diseases and allergy to the medicine

How long should you take the drug?

As long as prescribed.
