Tadaga

Tadaga is a medication indicated for the management of men’s sexual problems including erectile dysfunctions. The active ingredient of this drug is Tadalafil.

When is Tadaga prescribed?

Tadaga is a form of drugs called Phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors. It helps in the management of erectile dysfunction by correcting the underlying factor responsible for it.

Most men develop an inability to get an erection due to the improper blood supply into the penis.  Tadaga causes an increase in the amount of blood in the affected parts thus supporting the erectile processes.

It also works by inhibiting the effect of PDE5 enzyme thus causing a dilation of the blood vessels.

Tadaga may also be used in the management of prostatic ailments such as benign hyperplasia of the prostate. This condition, though benign, is known to cause severe symptoms due to the pressure exerted by the enlarged prostate gland on the urethra. Tadaga can help to relieve the symptoms of this disorder by reducing the enlargement. 

How To Use Tadaga?

The usually recommended dosage of this drug is 10 to 20 mg per day. Most men are able to derive optimum results with this standard dose. In some cases, the dose may have to be raised if the results are not satisfactory.

The dose of Tadaga can be lowered if the patients develop any serious side effects or if they are suffering from renal impairment.

Patients suffering from cardiac disorders or those having a history of hypertension or heart attacks should avoid using this drug. It is advisable to use Tadaga only after consulting a physician regarding its most suitable dosage based on their overall health and the medical conditions they may be suffering from.

What are the side effects of Tadaga?

An allergic reaction to Tadaga may result in itching, skin rashes, hives, difficulty in breathing, and swelling of the face, lips or the tongue. Some other common side effects of this drug include a painful and very long-lasting erection, chest pain, loss of vision, ringing sounds in your ears, loss of hearing, and palpitations. In case, patients develop such side effects, they must stop using Tadaga immediately and seek medical intervention.

Tadaga should be stored at a cool and dry place. It should be kept out of reach of children. The medication must be discarded in an appropriate manner once its expiry date is over.
