Generic Zerit is not a cure for HIV and it is not a cure for AIDS but it is one of the more effective antiviral drugs which help control the multiplication of HIV in the body and thus helps slow down the progress of the infection.

Generic Zerit should not be taken if you are allergic to Stavudine. Generic Zerit should not be taken in combination with zidovudine. Generic Zerit is usually not prescribed to pregnant women.
