What is this drug?

Generic Alkeran is a chemotherapeutic agent which has Melphalan as the active drug. It is phenylalanine derivative and is used in treating cancers like multiple Myeloma, Rhabdomyosarcoma and others.

Missed Dose

If it is time for your next dose then skip the missed dose or else take it as soon as you remember. Do not double dose.

Warnings and Precautions

Do not take it with Nalidixic acid and Palifermin. Regular complete blood count to be done as it causes bone marrow suppression
