What is this drug?

Noroxin is an anti-bacterial prescribed to treat a variety of superficial as well as deep tissue bacterial infections. To prevent drug resistance, it should not be prescribed in infections which are not bacterial like the flu, common cold etc.

Noroxin contains Norfloxacin as the main ingredient. It is an antibiotic belonging to the class of fluoroquinolones. It inhibits bacterial enzymes required for the DNA replication and synthesis. The unstable bacterium dies.

How to take the medication?
