Dosage

Depending on the strain of bacteria that has caused the infection and the part of the body that is affected by the infection, the dosage will vary. In most cases, the dosage will vary between 250 and 500 mg of Generic Biaxin twice a day. Use exactly as much Generic Biaxin as you were prescribed by your doctor.

Overdose

Missed Dose

Take the dose you missed as soon as you remember. Do not take it if the next scheduled dose is near.

More serious side effects need to be reported at once and they include: extreme headaches with severe dizziness, short breath, pounding heartbeats, watery or bloody diarrhea, fever, swollen glands, body aches, skin rash, easy bleeding and bruising, severe pain o weakness in the muscles, hearing impairment, confusion, rapid weight gain, severe skin reactions as well as any signs of liver problems such as jaundice, loss of appetite, dark urine, etc.
