What is Voveran gel?
Voveran gel is a topical application gel used for its anti-inflammatory and analgesic actions. It is used to alleviate inflammation in conditions like osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis. It is also used as an analgesic to relieve pain in many conditions including muscle cramps, pulls or strain.
Classification and Mode of Action
Voveran gel has diclofenac as the active drug. It is an NSAID – Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug. It exhibits analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic actions. It acts by inhibiting COX – cyclooxygenase which is responsible for the synthesis of prostaglandins. Prostaglandins are substances that initiate the inflammatory process.
Looking after your drug
Store it at temperatures below 300C and away from moisture and direct heat. Check expiry before use.
How to take Voveran gel?
Apply it directly to the affected joint or area. Do not apply on open wounds, cracked or peeling skin.
Apply 1% gel 4 times in a day or as directed by your doctor.
Seek medical aid or talk to your doctor.
If it time for the next dose then skip it. Do not double dose.
Warnings and Precautions
Use caution if you are in the last trimester of your pregnancy, are taking anticoagulants or suffer from cardiac or renal disease.

Last trimester pregnancy, after CABG or cardiac procedures, cardiovascular disease, severe renal disease, allergy to the medicine
