What is Victoza?

Victoza (Liraglutide) is a drug to control the blood sugar levels in the body. It is given to diabetic patients in order to treat type 2 diabetes.

 No studies have been done on women who breastfeed their baby. Thus, the drug is not the best option for nursing mothers. 

How long should you take Victoza (Liraglutide)?

Liraglutide is given every day. The dose must be initiated if 3 days have passed since the last dose of liraglutide.
