What is this drug?

Snovitra 20 mg is a medicine prescribed to treat sexual dysfunction in males. It is used in case of failure to get an erection or the ability to hold an erection for the desired duration. It can act only if there is a sexual stimulation after taking the medicine.

Class and Mechanism of Action

Snovitra contains Vardenafil. It is a phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitor. Its PDE5 inhibiting action releases more of cGMP in the Corpus Cavernosum of a penis. An increased level of cGMP relaxes the smooth muscles of the arteries and improves blood flow. The increased blood flow helps in an effective erection which lasts up to hours.
