What is Tacroz Forte Ointment?
Tacroz Forte Ointment contains Tacrolimus as the generic drug and is prescribed for eczema or atopic dermatitis. It is used for short-term treatment of moderate to severe eczema which has not responded to any other treatments.
Classification and Mechanism of Action
Tacrolimus belongs to the class of immunosuppressant and it suppresses the immune response by binding to certain receptors in the blood which are crucial to the production of cytokines through the calcineurin pathway. Inhibition of this pathway impedes the activation of T-cells which are responsible for the inflammatory response.

Keep it capped and in its container at room temperature, away from moisture. Do not freeze.
How to take Tacroz Forte Ointment?
Apply a thin layer to the affected skin and spread it evenly.
Dosage
Apply two times a day. Continue for a week after symptoms subside.

If it time for your next dose then skip the missed dose. If not then apply when you remember it.
Warnings and Precautions
Limit exposure to the sun when using the medicine. Certain calcium channel blockers may react with the drug. Talk to your doctor.
