What is Retino A Cream 0.05%?

Retino-A is an anti-acne mediation used to manage and treat pimples. It also has a potential in reducing age spots and fine lines of ageing. It is capable of replacing old and damaged skin with new skin.

Class and Mechanism of Action

Retino-A Cream 0.05% contains tretinoin as the active ingredient. It is a Keratolytic medication and is an active Vitamin-A metabolite. The medicine prevents the aggregation of follicular epithelial cells and promotes their mitotic division. It also increases the turnover of these cells. This activity inhibits the hardening of the outer layer of pimples and comedones and increases shedding of the damaged and old skin. It increases the turnover of old skin replacing it with rejuvenated new skin.
