Why is Effexor Xr Generic Venlafaxine prescribed?
Generic Effexor (Venlafaxine) is used to treat depression, social anxiety disorder, generalized anxiety disorder and panic disorder. Venlafaxine is an antidepressant of the serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI) class. It works by increasing certain types of activity in the brain. Venlafaxine Generic is antidepressant with a novel chemical structure. Venlafaxine has a structure that does not resemble those of any currently used antidepressants. Effexor is not a tricyclic antidepressant or an MAO inhibitor.

How Should Venlafaxine Generic be used?
Generic Venlafaxine should be taken once a day with food, at approximately the same time each day. Swallow the tablets whole; do not chew, split, or crush them.
