Why is this medication prescribed?
Duvanta (Generic duloxetine) is used to treat depression.
It works by increasing the amounts of serotonin and norepinephrine,
natural substances in the brain that help maintaining mental balance and stoping the
movement of pain signals in the brain.
It is also used
to treat pain and tingling caused by diabetic neuropathy.
Duvanta (Generic duloxetine) is in a class of
medications called selective serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors
(SSNRIs).
How should this medicine be used?
Mostly, you should take 1 Generic duloxetine capsule daily, Unless otherwise directe by your doctor. Do not stop taking duloxetine without first consulting your doctor.
What side effects can this medication cause?
