Why is this medication prescribed?
Generic Plavix is uesd to treat people who have had a
recent heart attack, a recent stroke, or have poor circulation in
the legs. Generic Plavix is help
keeping the blood platelets from sticking together and forming clots, which
helps keep blood flowing. This help protecting from having another
heart attack or stroke.
How should this medicine be used?
Follow the directions for using this medicine provided by your
doctor. This medicine may be taken with or without food.
What side effects can this medication cause?
Side effects include:
Turn to your doctor immediately if you
experience: change in vision;
skin rash; nosebleeds; and any unusual bleeding in the body;
discoloration of urine or stool; tarry stools; yellowing of the skin or eyes; weakness;
speeking problems; seizures.
What special precautions should I follow?
- If you are currently taking aspirin or considering to take aspirin, consult your doctor
