Canesten
is used to treat recurrent candidiasis (yeast infections).
Canesten help relieving the itching and discomfort associated with candidiasis.
How should this medicine be used?
Fill the applicator with the cream
and insert the applicator into the vagina and release the
cream. The cream is usually applied once a day but can be applied
twice a day if required. ollow the directions on your
prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor to explain any
part you do not understand. Take Canesten exactly as directed. Do not take more
or less than prescribed by your doctor.
What side effects can this medication cause?
The side effects include:
- increased urine
- irritations
- burning sensations
What special precautions should I follow?
- Tell your doctor if you are allergic to Canesten or any
other drugs.
- You must not use Canesten
during the first 3 months of pregnancy.
