Why is this medication prescribed?
Generic Rogaine (Mintop Forte) is used to stimulate hair
growth in adult men and women with a certain type of baldness.
Generic Rogaine (Mintop Forte) works by increasing the size of hair follicles, resulting in longer thicker hair.
You need to use Generic Rogaine (Mintop Forte) at least 3 months to see hair growth. Hair loss will begin again within a few
months after Generic Rogaine (Mintop Forte) treatment is stopped.
How should this medicine be used?
Apply a small one ml to a dry, clean scalp twice a day. Do
not shampoo your head for 4 hours after the application of Generic Rogaine (Mintop Forte).
Do not use a hair dryer to dry the hair.
This medicine usually comes with patient instructions. It is important that
you read the instructions carefully.
What side effects can this medication cause?
The side
effects considered rare and include:
- itching
- skin rash
- a burning scalp
- increased hair loss
- inflamed skin
- swelling of the face
