About Tenvir-EM

Tenvir EM Tablets are highly recommended as a Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis for the management of HIV infection. It is also used in the treatment of HIV infection. It belongs to the group of drugs called NRTI or nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors. Tenvir EM is a combination of two anti-HIV medications: Emtricitabine (200 mg) and Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate (300 mg). It works by filtering out the Human Immunodeficiency Virus from the blood. It prevents the multiplication of the HIV thereby reducing the viral load in the body. These compounds also increase the CD4 cell count thereby supporting the body’s natural defenses against infectious pathogens. We offer Tenvir-EM which is a generic copy of Truvada manufactured by Cipla.
