Why is this medication prescribed?
Generic Mobic (M-Cam) is used to relieve the tenderness, pain,
stiffness, and inflammation caused by osteoarthritis. Generic Mobic (M-Cam) is in
a class of medications called nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medications
(NSAIDs). It works by stopping the body's production of a substance that causes
pain, inflammation and fever.
How should this medicine be used?
Usually the dosage is a 7.5 mg
tablet a day, but can be increased to 15 mg if needed. It can be
taken with or without food.
What side effects can this medication cause?

What special precautions should I follow?
Before taking Generic Mobic (M-Cam),
- tell your doctor if you are allergic to Generic Mobic (M-Cam), aspirin
or other NSAIDs such as ibuprofen (Motrin, Advil) and naproxen (Aleve,
Naprosyn).
- tell your doctor about all kind of medications you are
taking.
- tell your doctor if you are smoking a lot or if you are drinking large amounts of alcohol.
- tell your doctor if you
have or have ever had stomach problems such as ulcers; asthma; high blood
pressure; heart failure; blood clotting problems; or kidney or liver
disease, swelling of the: hands, ankles, feet or lower legs.
- if you are having surgery, including dental surgery, tell the doctor
that you are taking Generic Mobic (M-Cam).
- tell your doctor if you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant, or are
breast-feeding. If you become pregnant while taking Generic Mobic (M-Cam), call your
doctor.
