Generic Voltaren (Diclofenac) is used to relieve tenderness, pain
inflammation , and stiffness caused by rheumatoid
arthritis and osteoarthritis and ankylosing spondylitis. Generic Voltaren (Diclofenac) is in a class of medications called nonsteroidal
anti-inflammatory medications (NSAIDs). It works by stopping the body's
production of a substance which causes pain and inflammation.
How should this medicine be used? Follow the directions
provided by your doctor. Do not break, swallow whole,
crush or chew before swallowing. Take this medicine with food .
What side effects can this medication cause? Side effects, that may
go away during treatment, include:- diarrhea
- nausea
- vomiting
- gas
- constipation
- indigestion
- stomach cramps
- feeling dizzy
- drowsiness

headache
If they continue , check with your
doctor. Check with your doctor if you experience the following:
- ringing in ears
- fatigue
- itching
- swelling of hands/ankles
- yellow eyes or skin
- flu symptoms
- vomiting
- blood in stool or vomit
- stomach pain
Contact
your doctor immediately if you experience swelling of face,
lips, tongue, hands, throat or eyes; difficulty breathing; or hoarseness.
What special precautions should I follow?
- tell your doctor if you are allergic to Generic Voltaren (Diclofenac), aspirin
or other NSAIDs such as ibuprofen (Motrin, Advil) and naproxen (Aleve,
Naprosyn).
- tell your doctor about all the medications you are
taking.
- Do not drink
alcohol while you are taking this medicine.
- This medicine may cause drowsiness or dizziness, so do not drive,
until you know how you react to this medicine.
