How should this medicine be used?
Cobix (Generic Celebrex) is a COX-2 specific inhibitor.
Cyclo oxygenase compounds are found throughout the body - for
example, in the stomach and nervous system. COX-2 is a type of cyclo
oxygenase which produces prostaglandins that cause pain and
inflammation. COX-1 is a type of cyclo oxygenase that is found in
the stomach that helps protect the stomach lining.

What special precautions should I follow?
- People who have a sensitivity to
other anti inflammatory drugs may be able to tolerate Celecoxib or
Cobix (Generic Celebrex), however they should use it with caution.
Do not use Cobix (Generic Celebrex) if you answer yes to one of the following : -
Allergic to sulfa drugs
- Urticaria, asthma, allergic
reactions with aspirin or other NSAIDs
- Third trimester of
pregnancy
- Severe liver function impairment
- Allergic to celecoxib
