Aziderm (Azelex) is used to treat mild to moderate acne. It works by
decreasing the production of keratin (a substance that leads
to the production of acne) and killing the bacteria that infect the pores in the skin.
How should this medicine be used?
Aziderm (Azelex) is
applied once in the morning and evening. It may take up to one month
or even longer for the full benefits of using Aziderm to appear.
. Rub gently the cream into the affected area and
avoid contact with the eyes or inside the mouth.
After applying Aziderm (Azelex) cream, wash your hands well.
It is very important that you keep
using Aziderm (Azelex) for the full time of treatment, even if your symptoms
